Hi all,

I hope all is well with you this Christmas season :) Christmas is coming up fast and it's so nice to have our beautiful real Christmas tree up with it's lovely pine smell. We did the whole thing where you go to a Christmas tree farm and the kids (influenced by me) choose a tree and you cut it down yourself. Great fun. Unfortunately for some birdies out there we discovered a nest, much to the children's delight, in our tree! It was empty though so not so bad in the end. I have to say it was well worth the effort of cutting our own because the kids just luurrrved it. They were so excited. Actually my little girl got a wee bit confused and the next morning she jumped out of bed and ran into the lounge to see what presents santa might have left under our freshly decorated tree. Gotta love 4 year olds.

So what is news at Little Rooms? It's busy busy busy and I secretly love wrapping gifts so this really is my dream job. (tehe) But seriously I will beautifully wrap your gifts if you choose gift wrapping and I will send them out the same day if I possibly can. We also have some fun stuff happening. Awww, this penguin sleepy light is very cute. It has just arrived in today. We also have fairies, pirate ships, rocket ships, butterflies and trains :)

It is a beautiful almost summer day here in Nelson so I've started thinking about summer bbq's, yummy salads and christmas fun! I haven't quite got round to getting the christmas shopping started because both my kids birthdays are in November. Bad planning I know! They have a present overload in the last two months of the year.

Have you started your Christmas shopping? I think there is something to be said about leaving it to the last minute. That crazy rush to the shops where everyone is running around in a mad panic. Actually I love it when you see all these people on cell phone with stressed looks on their faces trying to decide over the phone what to buy. Tehe. I have to say I have been guilty of that myself.

Little Rooms is busy busy too. We've got some fantastic duvets coming in. I may buy one for my little boy as well actually because he has a new bed which is bigger than his old one. It's lovely cause I fit on it to read him story books. Much easier!

It's a lovely winters day in my part of New Zealand, but still I'm definitely looking forward to spring!
